The Opryland Hotel and Opry Mills Mall, up off Briley Parkway are still under at least 3 feet of water. The Tennessee (Cumberland, if you're from Nashville) River completely went out of it's banks. Broadway (the Downtown main strip) got absolutely hammered as well. I got sent a pic from a friend of mine of a Dollar General Store off 8th Avenue Downtown where the water was up to the sensors at the top of the door frame...and that was on Saturday evening, they still had rain on Sunday too. Gaylord Springs Golf course sent me an email and said they will be closed for months.
I'd bet there will be some issues. It was devestating. There's still finding bodies that had been washed away from the flood waters. An elderly genteman's body was found in a nearby field this morning, brings the death toll to 18 and counting.
